Not sure if people are interested, but I came across an announcement for an open course being taught at MIT starting in January, “Advanced Machining”.
It looks interesting, and it seems that the lectures will be posted to Youtube. Here are the relevant links:
I know less than zero about machining, so I guess most of it will go over my head, but I’m going to watch the videos anyway and try to learn by osmosis 
I’ve been watching various MIT OCW lecture video series and have been learning a lot.
Curious what the textbook(s) will be, and what additional resources might be created/shared by the instructor.
