This is just a little off-topic, but why not try a multi-pass contour operation (on the lines) with a vbit and not even use a vcarve operation at all? I’m still new to this, but the shapes seem simple enough that you don’t even need to use the vcarve toolpath. I actually used this once already when I was cutting a simple grooved checkerboard pattern and it worked well!

The problem with such a direct approach is that Carbide Create won’t provide an accurate preview of the cut.
It also makes for a more accurate corner in my experience to overcut the edges slightly.
