How do I apply texture to a 3D object I’m creating using “MODEL”?

That depends on the texture. If it’s prismatic & symmetrical, like a raised diamond pattern, you could use the modeling in CC and just add or subtract it.

For a more complex pattern, dragon scales for example, you would need a height map image, or STL of the pattern & then add or subtract that to the finished model.
