I am trying to run the first job on my Shapeoko 4. I have a piece of 1/2" plywood at the front of the spoilboard. (11 3/4" X 16")The image I am trying to cut is 9’ wide and 4 " high contour with 2" text in the center.
I have saved the file in 2cd and moved it to CM. I have set the zero in the lower left of the rectangle and that places it about 8" above the bottom of the workpiece. Just when I select “start Job”, I get a message that reads “The project will hit the back of the machine (Y+)”. (The program zero is 3.2 mm too far back).
I have checked and double checked my settings, but to no avail. I even hit the start job anyway and it does go to the back of the machine, and I cannot determine what I have wrong in my file.
This is a warning.

Is it possible to move the stock and the origin 3.2mm towards the front of the machine?
Could you post the file and a photo showing the stock clamped in place on the machine with the machine at the origin (or a specified offset from that position)?
I’m not sure if I’m missing something here or not. Where ever you set your Tool Path Zero in Carbide Create, lower left in this case, that is where you want to set your zeros on the work piece in Carbide Motion after you clamp it down.
