My experiment cutting aluminium sheets larger than 8x8

I made this piece of aluminium used for a 3D printer I’m working on.

The problem is that it is larger than Nomads 8x8 (20x20cm). It is ~ 9x12 (23x29cm). I solved it by cutting it as 4 corners and make a fixure for the center in lower right corner.

I then moved it arround and cut it as 4 different jobs. The problem was to get the mirrored side to line up correctly. I tried to mesure the error on the fixture (arround 1 degree) and compensated for that in MeshCAM. I think it ended up good enought for this project but it was not perfect. Anyone here have better suggestions on how to work with large work pieces that you need to divide in serveral tasks?
