My first test runs....did a trace, some lettering & a simple pocket. Biggest bonus for me, all cut all the way through my stock, but not a scratch on the wastboard

If you ain’t diggin’ the broken end of a ⅛" bit out of your wasteboard, you ain’t cuttin’! :smiley:

Nice job! Typically you end up scraping your wasteboard when you cut your part all the way through.

Since a clean wasteboard is important to you, perhaps your goal should be to learn to design with Z-zero to the top of your waste board (bottom of your part) rather than the top of your part.

PS. On most forums its better to only create a short title to you post and place the rest of the text into the body. Its lots easier to read that way.
