My Support Experience Today

So the during tool changes on the last couple projects I was working on I found that the C3D router shaft, collet nut and collet and end mills were getting too hot to handle. I sent an email to support this afternoon explaining the problem and 15 minutes later Eugene replied and asked for a short vid showing the router in motion. I sent it in and and hour later he informed me that they would be shipping me a new router.
Just another example of the awesome customer support that C3D provides.

The new router arrived early this morning. Very impressed that 3 days after contacting support and with international Fedex ground shipping to Canada that it arrived so fast. I was also pleasantly surprised that it is a complete router kit with 3 new collets, 2 sets of spare brushes and a pair of collet wrenches. Ya I know but those little things impress me
So good to know that C3D stands behind thier product. A lot of companies out there could learn from C3D. (Ever try to convince the dealer that your car repair should be covered under warranty?)
Thanks to the Eugene and the support team for thier help!

For the collet wrenches, I would suggest getting a good quality pair of wrenches as discussed at:

(and if someone has updated options/suggestions/information, that would be welcome)

I was using a couple good wrenches out of my toolbox already. These are the wrenches that came with the new router. Much better quality than the “pot metal silver” ones that originally came with the machine. They are 5mm thick and have a plastic cover on the handle . I’ll try them out but may go back to my good toolbox wrenches if they don’t work out.

Nice upgrade! (which explains why there haven’t been any tickets for replacing bent wrenches recently)
