Hey gang, awhile ago I figured out (and posted to here) that the dewault table saw stand (DW7440RS) fit under the shapeoko 3 and made it super easy to move around for those of us with little shops. I wanted to give a year update on how it’s been working. TL;DR it works great, just don’t mount the shapeoko directly to the frame and remember to have everything at $HOME before you lift the dolly. First thing to know, I have a very tiny shop. 11ft x 10ft and I share the middle of it with a bunch …

and I finally got around to putting together the one I bought:

Mounting it was simplicity itself — just needed 4 M5x30 BHCSs, and 4 washers from the stand hardware supply, and 4 M5 washers and 4 M5 nuts — for assembly you’ll also need a 10mm socket and ratchet.

Next up is working out mounting the power supply and working out a way to secure the USB cable and other accoutrements.
