Need help mirroring a file

I have an image I bought off of Etsy I wish to cut. The file is facing to the right and I need it facing to the left.

The graphic programs I have reverse the text when I try.

Can someone help with this, either direct me to the proper software of just modify the file?

This is a purchased file

You will need to re-set/re-draw the text.

This may be done in Carbide Create using Node Editing:

or in your choice of vector editor.

@erica

Sorry, out of my wheelhouse. I have had the exact results you are having now and the only fix I found was to recreate the file in the opposite direction, replacing the font manually in Inkscape. It was a pain due to my simple knowledge of manipulating different software.

Open the file:

Mirror it:

Select each bit of text:

Mirror

Rotating may help:

Done

and Scaling:

Repeat.

Note that letters may also be individually scaled.

Just when think things are hard to do…… Will shows you again just how easy they are!!

Thanks for the tutorial, that looks easier ( due to me knowing CC better than Inkscape) and cleaner than my debacle in Inkscape.

Tim … from experience … it ONLY looks easy when Will does it. Then reality sets in.

PS … I am will to bet that he DREAMS creating projects in CC while he sleeps.

Note that I intentionally chose a simpler text section.

The young should never envy their elders for their skills/experience, for they have paid for them by emptying a purse which may never be refilled.

First job out of college was drawing 40+ hours/week in Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand.

A text which will help folks out on this sort of thing is:

That said, this file was probably originally done in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw or some other program which has a mesh/warping feature, so that each block of text was set, then the perimeter of the text was altered using the feature for reshaping the interior based on that.
