Need Help with deleting portions of Vectors and summing together

Hello,

This is my first time trying to use some advanced features of the software.
I’m trying to join these snowmen bodies together. I got the outline vectors added together using the “weld” tool.

I’m now trying to figure out how to delete the 2 snowmen
body vectors in “red” and join them together the “black” lines? I was playing around with the edit vectors tool but can’t figure it out. Maybe not possible?

Thanks

Upload your .c2d file and we will walk through this with you.

Awesome! Thank you.

The easiest way would be to create a closed polyline shape and union/weld all 3 shapes

I needed to ungroup the snowmen first

Rather than draw in additional geometry to make this connection, my inclination would be to remove the surrounding geometry:

Then select and drag each snowman over so it overlaps:

repeat for each snowman:

Select the overlapping geometries:

Then use Trim Vectors:

and click on each each segment which is not wanted:

until one arrives at:

OK

OK

Then use Join Vectors to close things:

Yes

(if need be, repeat)

Select all the geometry:

and offset to the outside:

Apply
