Hi, I am looking for help with what correct tools to use for this logo. I keep getting chipping on the lion head and some letters like the “A” &“B” & “R” Appreciate all your help.

Why not use the same 30 degree tool for all the small/delicate text?

I agree with Will.
Your feeds and speeds look reasonable.
You can also try applying a finish to the wood before you carve it. Shellac should work.
There is also a wood hardener you can use.
If this keep happening I suggest you use an End Grain piece of Stock.

Your wood/grain type may be pert of your issue as well.

@redlander is dead on. I’ve had those same problems on some woods and not others. I also reduce the depths of the cuts some. There’s a balance there for sure.
