So Makita is releasing a new XGT Trim Router that apparently has the same physical at the base size and RPM range as their 18V model but running at 40V.
Because the RPM range is the same but they are switching from 18V to 40V that means it should have significantly more power. This is backed up by their claims of being 35% faster than the 18V model. Only way it could be faster without higher RPMs is by being able to cut more per revolution.
I’m wondering when this will hit the US market so I can experiment with it
