New HDZ homing fails

I just installed my new HDZ (Looks awesome and looks like it is going to be awesome). If I jog to the lowest Z (-140mm) and then do a homing cycle it fails with “Error(10) GRBL Error: Homing Failed, couldn’t find limit switch”

I did download the settings from Carbide Motion 417 but $132=80 so it stops early before hitting the limit switch.

I set $132=140 and now all seems well.

This is more of an FYI than a question although I would like to know if this is something that Carbide Motion should/would have modified?

It should only be necessary to check the box for having an HDZ, then send the configuration — if it’s still not working, contact us at support@carbide3d.com

I should be clear not all homing failed, just homing from a low position with the default settings…

Changing $132 did fix it for me.

If you send configuration again, does $132 revert to 80?

Yes it does, it also sets $131 to 850 when it should really be 425 for the XL. See below for results of $$ after sending settings for XL

We’re aware of this - it’s one of the fixes that will be addressed in the latest version fo CM. Rob has been plugging away making a whole host of fixes and enhancements which we hope to be ready soon.
