Hi: I am a new Shapeoko user. I found an older shapeoko model in our shop, sitting unused for years in our model shop.
I try to connect the cnc to my computer, but varbide motion tells me not connected.
Obviously I don’t know what I am doing and any help would be appreciated.

Is this a Shapeoko 1 or 2 or 3? If a 3 does it have red plates and a Stepoko control board?
Carbide Motion will only connect to a Carbide 3D machine (a Shapeoko 3 with black plates), or if a Sparkfun with red plates and Stepoko control board, when running an old version of CM with a Sparkfun Activation Code.
