A recent cruise in New Zealand revealed that they refer to woodworkers as “Chippy” so I decided my shop needed a new sign. An old plaque was pressed into service and here we are. Simple Advanced V-carve did the trick in about 38 minutes while I did something else.
My old shop sign has held up well under full sun exposure. The new sign is carved into mdf while the old one is oak. Both are sprayed withe Helmsman outdoor/UV urethane.
