I just installed a new VFD spindle from Carbide 3D, and when I typed the M3S10000 command in the VDF showed a rpm of 23700. It did this in both CM 618 and 613. I read another thread and tried reverting back to CM 582 and now the spindle and the VFD are reading the 10000rpm of the command. Is this a known issue or is there something I did wrong in the setup of CM 618 & 613?
Please check and see if you enabled a BitRunner, rather than a VFD Spindle.
I just went through the entire setup process on CM618 again and made sure the bitrunner was not selected and had the same issue when I tested the rpm. Yesterday I installed CM582 and it ran properly.
