Many of the CNC woodworkers here are also new to woodworking. There is a definite mix of experience but I wanted to let the less experienced aware of a youtube.com channel called “worthheffort”. The channel was a school teacher that has become a full time woodworker and sustaining himself from those efforts. He has a lot of beginner suggestions and advise.
Although there is always something to be learned by the most seasoned woodworker these videos are for beginners. As with all youtube videos listen and learn but temper anything said with your own judgement and experience.
