Hey guy’s New to the group, just bought a used pro XXL with a bit zero and Bitfinder
with only a few hrs on it. having some issues 1 when using bit zero probe it probes Right Left
then when it goes forward I get an error message saying probe failed?
any help would be great.

Did you configure for the correct sort of BitZero?
Make sure your bit is centered above that little circle in the top of the BitZero and pretty close to the surface.
I assume you have the but zero V1 which is all aluminum, not the V2 which has the black plate on the bottom.
If you are not centered above that circle you may not have enough travel distance.

There’s a button to select the Probe type at the bottom of the Probe window.
Also, make sure you are running a recent version of Carbide Motion.
Oh yes I pick my type of bit zero started with the corner centered it and went
just below the rim. it probed left then right then forward turned red and stopped
with the error message probe failed.
Which version of Carbide Motion are you using?
Post a video showing what is happening?
Just downloaded it the other day so it must be up to date.
i’ll have to try again on make a Video
