Newbie questions - Registration Pins and left/right pass through

Couple of questions regarding doing material larger than the machine.

  1. what is the clearance height on the left/right rails? is it possible to pass through 3/4 Baltic Birch plywood under the rails?
  2. has anyone done registration pins, or how do you handle tiling?
