Why is there only global start/max depth and not the ability to set them for each tool path like in Carbide Create? It seems like it would be useful.
Follow up, so that maybe someone who knows might see this. Is there a reason, eg it would cause the tool path calculations to crash, or is it a workflow preference of Rob’s?
I’m not sure anyone ever asked for it, or if they did, I don’t remember the last time it was requested.
It’s on the “maybe” list for V9 because I’d like it.
I started with Meshcam but didn’t know what I was doing. I learned a lot using CC and now I’m using meshcam again. I think it would be a useful addition.
