Good morning.
I am trying to edit the letter H I want to be able to separate the middle section from the side. Is there an easy to accomplish this. I will attach an image with a pencil what I want to connected. I hope this image comes trough.
This is not something which can be resolved with just Node Editing.
It will be necessary to cut the Vectors at the desired point and then draw in geometry to join things.
This is most easily done by:
Drawing lines where one wants the closing done:
It is then possible to use Trim Vectors to open things up as needed by adding an additional line in-between:

At this point the extra line may be deleted:
and one may use Node Edit to clean up the excess nodes:
Done
Then select everything:
and use “Join Vectors” to close:
