NOMAD 3 - Humming, Vibrations and Rust on Spindle?

Hi all,

I’ve had my NOMAD 3 for almost a year now and it’s been great. After my last use a couple of days ago, I noticed that when the spindle is ON, my machine started making a “louder” higher pitched humming sound. Also, vibrations were a little more noticeable than the norm.

Lastly, I started seeing what looks like “rust” to me on top of the spindle, near the belts (please see pic)

After doing some research on the same issues that others have had in the past, it seems that this could be a bearing problem?

I just want to make sure I am on the right track before I even attempt anything.

If it is a bearing problem, where do I get the parts to replace it? Does C3D sell them? Also, are there tutorials on how to do this?
