Hey Folks, Does anyone know if it will be possible to purchase the Nomad 3 spindle and motor to upgrade a Nomad 883 Pro? I’m primarily using my nomad now for PCB milling so the 24k rpm and low runout would be an amazing upgrade. I only found out about the Nomad 3 a few days ago and tried searching to see if anyone’s asked about the possible upgrade path but havent seen anything posted here.
My understanding is that this will not be possible. Write in to sales@carbide3d.com for the official answer.
Folks have replaced the Nomad spindle with various other options though.
