Yes. I usually cut a jig for a piece using the X,Y zero == the centre rapid position. The put the stock on the jig and keep using the centre rapid position for each job.
I did this initially because I couldn’t manually figure out how to accurately jog to the corner of a bit of stock with a round endmill. It became a lazy habit after that.
