OK, I got an MCEtcher. Now what?

Obviosly, I’m gonna look around for techniques and best practice, I welcome any input from more skilled folks.

I have a Pro and a bit if carving experience. I want to start some simple metal etching. Chosen media for first steps are these guys:

Remerry Bottle Opener and Pour Spout Remover Flat Bar Key Stainless Steel Bar Speed Opener Dog Bone Wine Bottle Opener Double Ended Beer Openers for Bartenders Kitchen, Black (12 Pieces) Amazon.com.

Dont think i need to go deep, just remove the coating?

Any input welcome.

Cheers,

M

I recently used an M.C. Etcher for a stainless steel project:
