I’ve ordered some press-fit pins, so will try that.
Interestingly, when I was poking around, I accidentally closed a connection between the top-left and top-center pins (position 5) and my router came on. It appears that the top-center pin receives +5V to initiate a PWM as opposed to providing voltage when it is needed?

That 5V was sent to your BitRunner as if it came from the controller. The pin is an output that you accidentally pulled up to 5V. I used that same pin to run my cheap laser with PWM.
I thought about adding laser to my shape, i jist think its alot of wear for both or am i thinking wrong
