At times when I want to add text and/or other features to an item I’m working on I load a background image of it and work from there. I’d like to have a way of removing the background image from the .c2d file. I have a few . c2d files that have swelled to 19 MB with copies of background images that are not needed anymore while my average .c2d with no background image is almost always under 500 KB
Have you tried exporting your design as an SVG then importing that into a new file?
I haven’t tried that but that should work. I was just hoping for a Remove Background Image button below the Load Image button.
