Picture frame mat cutting. Is there a way to configure my shapeoko xxl to cut 90 degree beveled window
mats in 4-8 ply mat board for framing artwork. There are specialized machines such as the Gunnar mat cutter that cost $4-5 k. Wondering if there is a work around. Without rounded inside corners.

It might work do to a V-carving, sort of, but I don’t see how a spinning tool is going to cut as well as a fresh, sharp blade.
A Logan mat cutter isn’t automatic, but it’s close.
