Plastic depth setting rings

Is it ok to use endmills in the Nomad with the plastic depth setting rings attached? Is there a way to remove the rings? Ordering some bits and they have the rings on them.

Yes, the depth collars are fine (and a nice convenience to ensure one gets the endmills installed consistently — they can also help w/ identifying/tracking endmills).

I removed one on one of my end mills by cutting it with a small snips/cutter.
