I am miserable to share that the Mac version of Carbide Create seems to need to implement a hook for detecting a restart/shutdown and preventing it if the opened file is not saved. I’ve now lost my work twice because I move my iMac desktop outside onto the deck and inside, and I shutdown in between. I should remember to save, but most Mac apps stop the shutdown from happening and ask you to save your work prior to continuing the restart/shutdown; however, Carbide Create doesn’t, and will silently close, losing any work in progress.
I would be very, very grateful if you could implement this feature in your next release! Thanks for all your do!
