Well of course. You can combine any combination of toolpaths using the same tool. @XxPUNISHER78xX was wanting to output all operations for all tools in one file. The hobbyist license doesn’t allow that. I believe there’s an add-in that gets around some of it and I’m sure @fenrus created a post -post processor.
I place pauses into my programs often (e.g. to move clamps, to ADD clamps/screw hold downs, to clean out a DEEP groove, etc. ) True, I am not your normal maker…
I place an M00 where or when I want the machine to pause (it raises the Z, and shuts off the spindle…like a good girl). It’s not automatic, and not difficult once you’ve done it a few times.
