That skewed line trick is new to me, definitely filling it away for future use
Thanks for taking the time to show it

Thanks! I’ll get those dimensions updated.
And I need these dimensions highlighted. Yes, I am working in imperial, but SolidWorks is nice in that I can just type in “2.3mm” and it converts it automatically.
And that should be about it. I can then upload it for you to do a quick print (in PLA probably) for a test fit, then any additional fine tuning before it’s ready for “the good filament”.
And I designed the holes for these M3 and M4 inserts. If you want, I can send you a couple if you happen to be in N. America.
I will also upload a version where the holes will be sized to the M3 and M4 tap drill diameter, so you can directly thread them as well if you want.
Here’s the last measurement
Sorry in fact for the photo you highlighted I realized that I was wrong, it’s the length between the border and the beginning of the hole for the screw :
In fact, PLA test and after I will see what type of filament to use
I’m based in Montreal, that’s really appreciated, but after all the work you are doing, I dont want to ask you more than you already do, which is awesome. For the insert, I will check on internet i’m quite sure I can find a store not so far.
And in fact a version with the hole sized to fit M3 and M4 is perfect for first test
Thanks again for all the energy and work you do, that’s really really appreciated
Let’s see if this works. I didn’t think STL was an allowed extension.
Limit Switch Bracket —.STL (1.9 MB)
Aaaaand I meant to write “. . .Sensor Bracket. . .” and now I can’t edit the title.
Woot that’s awesome!!!
Can I ask you the version without the M3 & m4 insert?
I mean the version with the hole directly M3&M4, it will be easier to test because i dont have yet the the insert, if not no problem, I will try my best to find them fast
I’ll tell you what I tell others - I really do enjoy designing things. I can watch TV a little bit, but I end up at my computer with SolidWorks open and I design things for my down time. This was a fun little model while I sit home and try to forget that I had a tooth pulled yesterday. Laying down hurts, and sitting up does not, so here I am.
I design things for me and put them on Printables and Thingiverse. for others, then someone will ask me to modify something, so I will because why not? Then I will be asked to modify it again, so I will. I duplicated the Milwaukee Packout Organizer bins, both regular height and low profile, then I was asked to make all kinds of different dividers for them, so I did.
Too late for “Long Story, Short”, but I enjoy doing it, and you are welcome.
Here you go.
Thank you so much!
I’m really impressed by all the kindness you have and efficiency, that’s really appreciated, I will be able to continue my surfacing and finish the table top of a friend for this week end
Haha the famous, how to forget the dolor of the dentist xD
I can’t say how much I thank you, I will test it with a print during the night and I will take a look to Thingiverse on what you have done!
Thanks again!
