For dust collection I’m using a Festool CT36E. Sweet machine that handily doubles as a shop vac. Quiet, too. I bought an extra hose off Amazon and rigged it to my joists. See photos. I needed a way to adjust the hose heights and give me some flexibility all around, so I designed the orange hose attachments you see in the photo. Gotta love 3D printing. (Let me know if anyone wants the 3D files.)

That’s certainly far more elegant than my solution of tying rope around the hose and a screw in the ceiling.

Please post the 3d files for the hose clamps.
