Had my machine for about 4 years now without a whole lot of issues (except for a few X axis limit switch problems) until last week. Just after connecting to the machine, I’ll hit the initialize and the screen says it’s “busy” but won’t do absolutely anything and then my computer just goes back to my home screen. Has anybody else had this issue before? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
First, check the computer — restart, check for updates, shutdown, verify all updates are installed and none pending, then launch only Carbide Motion and nothing else — does that allow initialization?
If not, power up, connect, and try re-sending the machine configuration:
