Pro XXL won't turn on at all

Hi there everyone!

I bought a Pro XXL four years ago. I built it and didn’t get back to it until now. When I first built it, it would power on just fine (the button lit up, etc). I went to turn it on today to start working with it, and it won’t turn on at all. No lights, no nothing. The power supply has a solid lit LED. The LED stays on even if I unplug it for a while.

How should I proceed with troubleshooting? Should I get a replacement power supply?

Usually, if the power supply lights up promptly and stays steadily lit, it’s okay.

Note that there are two power switches for a Pro XXL

  • in-line in the cord from the power supply
  • illuminated at the corner

Please try all four possible switch position combinations. If that doesn’t work, you probably need a new controller, let us know at support and we’ll verify that with you.

Thank you for replying so fast!

I tried unplugging the power supply from both ends and letting it sit until the green light went out. For me it was 15 ish minutes. I plugged it back in and it works! I guess letting it sit for so long had something to do with it.
