I have a new issue in that the probing dialog used with the bit zero no longer persists until the zeroing is done. I click “Begin Probe” and the probing sequence proceeds normally but the dialog window disappears. When the probing is done there’s no dialog to press done so that the bit setteraction can occur. I have just changed my spoilboard for which I had disconnected the bitsetter. it’s now connected showing the red LED, and the green LED shows if I press on the detector plate.
Any ideas? was the disconnection and re-connection of the bitsetter an issue?
Sounds like a configuration issue. Try running through the setup. To access the setup power on Shapeoko and start CM but do not initialize. You can go to settings screen and press the BitSetter button down and see if the controller sees the change of status.
Claude figured it out. Since I had removed the Bitsetter in order to change the spoilboards, it got disabled. Re-enabling it in the settings fixed the issue.
