I’ve been away from my CNC for a few weeks, but I don’t remember this happening before. I initialized my machine, then set my x, y, and z axis. My router than goes to my bitsetter, touches, returns to my x,y axis and the screen says " Setting the Z Zero will immediately trigger a tool measurement." It then goes and touches my bitsetter and returns to my x, y. I know it didn’t do this before. What am I missing?
This is the “Learn More” link with information about the workflow changes (Which you need to click past prior to downloading the latest versions). BitSetter Changes in Carbide Motion
Also, you should grab 636 to get the very latest.
Robgrz, I’ve updated to 636, and now I keep getting HM001: The machine could not pull off the homing switches error message. Only thing I did during the initial setup was move my router down closer to my bitzero. When I click the OK button on the error popup, I reclick the initialize button, my machine creeps forward and the same error message pops up. This continues until it has reached its limits.
Here’s the guide to debug the homing inputs on your machine. At the bottom of the page is the “Virtual Homing” process to bypass it and keep working if there is a problem that needs something replaced.
