Trying to resurface my wasteboard for the first time. I downloaded the file from cutrocket. My problem is that my machine will not allow me to move all the way to the left. It stops about 2 inches short, as though it’s hitting a “stop” button, but there’s nothing there for it to hit. What am I missing?

What machine do you have?
It is a Shapeoko 5 pro 4x4.
Did you configure CM for the correct machine?
There are travel limits defined in CM. If it thinks you have a Pro (not 5 Pro) the limits would be different.
With the power off can you gently slide the Z carriage all the way to the left? If it goes further than when under power it sounds like a soft limit.
