Problem with the motion function

I’ve been having one heck of a time with the Carbide Motion part of the system. I’ve had the machine (Shapeoko Pro XL since around April timeframe, and since then, I’ve only been able to get through a couple of projects out of about 12, without having the carriage start jumping/grinding, and going off the project path. It’s been so frustrating. Ive now tried several times trying to get support from Carbide 3D. No responses. I’ve now tried the support email, filling out the form online for them to call me, and calling both the Support line and the Sales line, but no answer. This has been more than a week. I’m wondering if they are still even in business. Could someone out there give me an idea of how I can get help from them? I can’t use the machine at all now. I’d really appreciate it if anyone has an idea.

Jumping and grinding are a mechanical issue. A long list of what if. Belts, Pulley, Debris, and cut speed / depth. Could you share the file or files you are having issues with? Pictures of the issues would help.

If you could provide a short video of what is going wrong, combined with the file you are trying to run, I am sure a bunch of people will be able to chime in and help out.
