Problem with vcarve inlay toolpath in VCarve Pro

I belive this problem just started when using v12.509

I amusing the tool with the following values:
Pocket Depth: 0.2
Glue Gap: 0.02
Surface Gap: 0.02

My stock depth is 0.25

But when it generates both the pocket and the plug, both are trying to operate on a board that is 1 inch thick. IE when i load the gcode into my carving tool it tells me the overall depth is 1 inch and starts carving above the board.

I may be doing something wrong, but i have done a bunch of inlays in the past using this toolpath and haven’t had issues.

Did you set the Z zero in the program to be Material Surface or Machine Bed?
And when you set Z zero at the start of the job did you use the same reference point that you put in the program?

Most likely the program is set to Machine Bed but you set your Z at the machine on top of the material.
