Problem X-motor shaking

Hello,

I have a problem when homing my Shapeoko 4 XL. It was working well just a few hours before it began to happen. It occurs when I initialize with Carbide Motion.
The X-axis moves very weirdly, shakes, goes to the left, then to the right all of this with a lot of noise and is unable to complete the homing process. I tried to check V-wheels and belts but nothing changed . I tried to disassemble the X-motor and launched the initialization and the motor is shaking and making the same noise as when assembled.
Do you have any ideas on what could be the issue ?

Thank you in advance for your answers!
Bastien

Check the motor connectors. Turn the machine off, and just unplug, and plug back together the connectors at the motor, all the way to the control box.

When unpluging/pluging I realized that one of the little wires went out of its plastic socket. I now works perfectly.
Thank you very much, it made my day!

Please let us know about this at support@carbide3d.com if you have an SO4/Pro/SO5 Pro (the Micro-Fit connectors require special tools to make up/dismantle properly), or if you need help with the repair of the Molex KK connector on a Shapeoko 3.
