Problems with important job

I have run jobs already this morning however, each time I try to run the front of a job, after setting zero, the job tries to start about 1/4 of an inch above the stock.

I have done the following…
Reset zero (multiple times)
Restarted CM.
Reinitialized SPXXL
Shut everything down and restarted.

All resulting in the bit hovering 1/4 inch above material when starting the cut process?

At one point I saw "(something reset while in motion) GRBL Alarm #3.

This is due tomorrow and I am beside myself at this point.

Go back to CC and check whether you are using top or bottom of material and if that matches where you are setting zero in CM.

I feel so dumb right now…

I never set the zero to bottom. But that is where it was.

Thank you!

There is no reason to feel dumb. Things happen. The good news is you found your mistake and likely will not repeat it. Hard lessons are remembered. Enjoy your machining.

Thanks again!
