Does anyone use a piece of clear plastic to cover the long Y axis worm gear to prevent it from accumulating dust from the machine’s cuts? It seems the long gear would accumulate dust and be hard to keep clean.
Thanks

They have custom wipers for the ballscrews that take care of debris before it gets to the nut. But debris can build up on the exterior if you’re tossing a lot of chips. I just pratice cleaning as I go.
