anyway, if I have 2 objects or group of nodes in Carbide Create, is there a way to combine them into one group of nodes? Or do I have to do that in a program before coming to CC?
You can join objects (if open) or Boolean union them together.
Note that the latter will convert them into polylines, so doing this in a 3rd party program such as Inkscape or Serif’s Affinity Designer may be preferable.
