I’m starting up this machine after a 4 year hiatus. I ran the setup and the machine initializes properly at home. But when I run Carbide Motion when I initialize it goes to home, but then immediately does a rapid Y move forward to the extent.
I think that’s the normal “Tool Change” position in newer versions of CM.
Not sure if it’s controlled by the Bitsetter ON/OFF setting.

That’s the ‘New Normal’. The expectation seems to be that you would load your material first, then turn on the machine.
At the end of a job, the machine now parks at the top right corner (near where the homing switches are), so the gantry is out of the way before you power off, or before you unload your work or load a new piece of material.
