Why is it that when I create an offset of a rectangle with 90 degree corners the offset has curved corners?
Isn’t it supposed to create an exact replica just with space in between?
The offset has the radius included because that more closely models the typical usage.
If you need sharp corners you will either need to use a 3rd party program or start at the largest size and only inset.

Depending on what you’re using the second triangle for - would a copy/paste/resize and reposition solution work for you?
