Recticulation Effect

I wanted to replicate(ish) the reticuation effect seen in some silver jewellery with the intention of getting a random pattern than is repeatable and controllable.

Attached is a test output using a pieve of 2mm thick brass (dimensions 45 x 6 mm) Brass:

Modelled using Vellum nodes in Houdini (relatively easy process) with toolpaths from VCarvePro

Milled out on the Nomad with a 1/16 roughing bit (112), finishing with 1/32 ballnose (121).

More to do, but fortunately reticulated metal comes in many forms, I can’t fail :slightly_smiling_face:
