Reducing travel

Good point about reducing tool travel one way to make your machining process more efficient in VCarve is to machine the holes first and then set your roughing toolpaths to start closer to those areas, minimizing unnecessary movement. Grouping your operations or adjusting toolpath order can really help, and setting custom start points often makes a noticeable difference too. Have you tried separating the hole drilling and roughing passes onto different layers to see if it improves the toolpath flow?
