References for the new "Restart Program" Feature in CM

Are there any articles, documentation or videos that explain how to use the new “Restart Program” feature in CM correctly?

I have tried to use it twice now and both times I have had to start over from scratch in the middle of a job because the feature fails to measure the tool correctly. It moves over towards the bit setter but never reaches it.

After I enter the current line number, I am prompted with a dialogue containing a series of steps that need t be performed. However, it is not clear if these are steps that will be completed automatically by CM or if they are manual steps that need to be performed by the user.

The steps include loading the tool, which is already loaded, then measuring the tool length (Which is not clear on how this should be done) then manually returning the bit to the defined x, y and z locations. Again not clear on how this is supposed to be done.

When I click OK on the dialog,it attempts to measure the tool at the bit setter but fails because it does not find the bit setter at the correct location.

It would be really nice if we could get a document or a video with explicit steps on how to use the new feature before ruining a project by trying to figure it out through trial and error.

Kind Regards,
Bryan M.
