Remote monitoring for Carbide Motion

A while back I had posed the question about if there was a way to interface with some API so I could send a panic stop remotely but I came up with a fairly easy solution that I figured others might find useful.

I’m running a Raspi4B+ for my Carbide Motion controller (thank you again C3D for making a Debian variant of that!) and what I did was just install VNC on the machine so I could remote desktop into it, plug a Logitech webcam into it, open VLC as a video input and just have that up next to the control software. Frame rate could leave something to be desired but it has worked great when I have a long carve going and I don’t want to sit there the entire time.
